  • Student Leadership

    The development of student leadership capacity is an important part of the Middle School Curriculum.
     

    Opportunities for participation in formal leadership positions are encouraged through the following positions:
     

    School captains with 2 boys and 2 girls selected from Grade 8 and Grade 9. This role is held for 2 years enabling students to develop and strengthen leadership skills as well as implementing ideas and contributing to the improvement of the Middle School.

     

    House captains with one boy and two girls from each of the five sporting houses. The role of House Captain offers students an opportunity to motivate their peers and promote house 'spirit'.


    Form Class representative with one student from each is a representative on the Middle School Representative Council (SRC). The role of Form Class Representative offers the student to gather ideas from their respective classmates and become the 'voice' of their form class.
