Our inclusive culture is built around a large, multi-disciplinary team, in-school therapies, and flexible learning pathways ensuring every student receives the support they need while being challenged and included.
Inclusive Learning Support
At AIS, we believe every student should be appropriately supported and challenged to make meaningful progress. Our inclusive approach supports students across the full range of learning abilities within the mainstream classroom.
Teachers use differentiated and open-ended tasks to provide appropriate challenge, alongside targeted strategies and support for students who require additional assistance to access the curriculum. Students may also access literacy and numeracy intervention programs, supported by our dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants. Through collaboration between teachers and Inclusion staff, we aim to ensure every student is engaged, challenged and progressing towards their individual potential.
School Readiness Program
The AIS School Readiness Program is a therapeutic, skills-based program designed to help children develop the confidence, independence and foundational skills needed to successfully transition into a mainstream classroom.
Children work on key skills including communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, independence, attention and learning behaviours through structured, individualised support. Our goal is to provide each child with a positive pathway into the classroom, building the skills they need to engage, participate and thrive.
On-Campus Therapies
Specialist therapies are available on campus, including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Speech and Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. Providing therapy within the school setting increases access for students and enables close collaboration between therapists and teachers, strengthening communication, embedding consistent strategies, and enhancing student progress across classrooms and daily school life.
ASDAN Life Skills Programme
The ASDAN Life Skills programme develops practical, real-life skills that build students’ confidence, independence, and readiness for life beyond school. Delivered alongside mainstream classes, the programme provides a balanced and inclusive learning experience that supports personal growth, social development, and success across all areas of school life.
Purpose Built Facilities
The Oasis is a dedicated sanctuary featuring sensory rooms and specialist equipment that support therapy, regulation, and learning in a calm, supportive setting.
